As an EMYSTI project lead, Christine Lee brings interpreting experience from corporate negotiations, international events, investment discussions and specialist technology settings in Japan.
Matching beyond one calendar
EMYSTI can propose a screened professional by language, subject, region and schedule while retaining responsibility for the service brief and delivery.
The standard consecutive-interpreting rate is ¥12,000/hour for an EMYSTI professional interpreter. Assignments personally delivered by professional lead Christine Lee are ¥13,500/hour. Both rates include tax. The minimum is 1 hour; time after that is billed in 15-minute increments. Travel, specialist preparation and out-of-hours requirements are quoted when applicable.
Formal simultaneous interpreting is not sold at the base single-interpreter hourly rate. It requires a separate quote after EMYSTI reviews the interpreter team, booth or portable equipment, audio feed, venue, preparation time and operating schedule.
Interpreting supports communication but is not legal, tax, accounting or investment advice. Clients remain responsible for commercial decisions, document review and the authority of meeting participants.

Can the interpreter negotiate commercial terms for us?+
The interpreter conveys your position accurately but does not act as your lawyer, investment adviser, sales agent or authorised decision-maker unless a separate professional role is explicitly contracted.
Can we sign an NDA before sharing the agenda?+
Yes. State the requirement in the inquiry. EMYSTI can review the NDA process before confidential preparation materials are exchanged.
Can one interpreter cover a full multi-day programme?+
Possibly, depending on hours, intensity, travel and topic. Longer or high-intensity programmes may require shifts or multiple interpreters, which will be reflected in the quote.
Do you support remote meetings?+
Yes. We confirm the platform, time zone, audio setup, participant count and document-sharing method before the meeting.
