EMYSTI interpreter readiness standard

How EMYSTI prepares and delivers

Pre-show briefing

We confirm products, priority audiences, key messages, prohibited claims, lead capture ownership, breaks, clothing and venue access.

Booth-ready coverage

Interpreter positioning and handover points are agreed so language support complements your sales and technical team without replacing them.

Realistic scheduling

Long show days require breaks and may require shift coverage. Travel, passes, early access and overtime are scoped before confirmation.

Specialist leadership and accountable matching

More than greeting support

Assignments are matched to the product and visitor conversation, including specialist technical or medical context where required.

Company coordination

For multiple booths, languages or days, EMYSTI can coordinate approved interpreters under one brief, quote and service contact.

The standard consecutive-interpreting rate is ¥12,000/hour for an EMYSTI professional interpreter. Assignments personally delivered by professional lead Christine Lee are ¥13,500/hour. Both rates include tax. The minimum is 1 hour; time after that is billed in 15-minute increments. Travel, specialist preparation and out-of-hours requirements are quoted when applicable.

Formal simultaneous interpreting is not sold at the base single-interpreter hourly rate. It requires a separate quote after EMYSTI reviews the interpreter team, booth or portable equipment, audio feed, venue, preparation time and operating schedule.

Interpreters convey approved information and do not independently make product, regulatory, performance or contractual claims. Exhibitors remain responsible for venue compliance, lead consent and commercial commitments.

Practical answers

Questions about this service

Does the interpreter also work as our salesperson?

The interpreter can support booth conversations and approved product explanations, but your team remains responsible for claims, pricing, lead qualification, contracts and commercial promises.

Can we book several interpreters for one event?

Yes. Share the dates, hours, languages, booths and subject areas. EMYSTI will propose staffing and named responsibilities rather than making an unstructured group booking.

Are exhibitor passes and travel included?

Not automatically. Passes, venue registration, transport, accommodation and out-of-hours access are confirmed and shown separately where applicable.

Can the interpreter join dinners after the exhibition?

Yes, if requested and confirmed in the assignment schedule. Extended hours, transport and late finishes may affect the quote.

Complimentary 15-minute project consultation

Tell us the context—not just the language pair.

One short call can clarify the language pair, format, date, location, subject depth and preparation needed for an accurate quote.
