How EMYSTI prepares and delivers
Terminology preparation
We review the procedure area, meeting format and approved terminology materials while limiting access to people assigned to the case.
Neutral communication
Benefits, limitations, risks, alternatives and patient questions are conveyed without sales pressure, embellishment or clinical interpretation by the interpreter.
Sensitive-material controls
Images, records and consent materials should only be shared when necessary through the secure method specified for the confirmed assignment.
Specialist leadership and accountable matching
Relevant research foundation
As EMYSTI’s responsible professional lead for selected medical projects, Christine Lee applies her clinical medicine background and University of Tokyo research experience to review, terminology preparation and interpreter assignment.
No clinic sales commission
Interpreting is quoted as a professional communication service. EMYSTI does not present language support as independent medical recommendation.
The standard consecutive-interpreting rate is ¥12,000/hour for an EMYSTI professional interpreter. Assignments personally delivered by professional lead Christine Lee are ¥13,500/hour. Both rates include tax. The minimum is 1 hour; time after that is billed in 15-minute increments. Travel, specialist preparation and out-of-hours requirements are quoted when applicable.
Formal simultaneous interpreting is not sold at the base single-interpreter hourly rate. It requires a separate quote after EMYSTI reviews the interpreter team, booth or portable equipment, audio feed, venue, preparation time and operating schedule.
EMYSTI provides neutral language support and does not endorse clinics, practitioners, products or procedures. Interpreters do not provide medical advice, guarantee outcomes or obtain consent on a client’s behalf.

Questions about this service
Can you recommend which clinic or procedure is best?+
No. EMYSTI can support communication with the provider you select, but does not diagnose, rank treatments or replace independent medical and legal advice.
Can the interpreter attend the consent discussion?+
Yes, subject to the clinic’s rules and scheduling. The clinician remains responsible for the medical explanation and the patient remains responsible for their own decision.
How are before-and-after photos handled?+
Do not send them through a general inquiry. If they are necessary for an accepted assignment, access should be private, role-limited and retained only for the stated operational period.
Is post-procedure coordination included?+
A simple order-related call or email of up to 15 minutes may be included. Repeated clinic coordination, travel changes or extended follow-up is separately scoped and charged.
